Dr. Vasanthi Anand is a Consultant – Cochlear Implant and Hearing Aid Surgeon at Rainbow Children’s Hospital- Bannerghatta Road- Bengaluru. Dr. Vasanthi Anand is the Director of Manasa Cochlear Implant and ENT Centre. After completing MS (ENT) from Government Medical College-Bellary, she worked at Tata Memorial Hospital- Mumbai as Fellow in Head and Neck Onco surgery. She has served as a faculty at Vydehi Institute of medical sciences for 12 yrs. She started this centre with the interest of giving internationally standardised diagnostic and treatment for hearing loss and post Cochlear Implant Habilitation. Trained in Minimally invasive Cochlear Implant surgery by Padmashri Prof Dr J M Hans and Dr.Trifon Kiratzidis, Veria ,Greece. She has successfully done more than 400 cochlear implant surgeries in normal and anomalies of cochlea. She has operated on children age 10 months to 65 years adults.
